Chico KidFest 2010
Welcome to the 2nd annual KidFest, a celebration of music, family and community. This unique event takes place during the Thursday Night Market from 6 till 9pm in the downtown plaza, on May 20th.
KidFest is a children oriented concert and business expo, bringing together area organizations whose focus is on the improvement of quality of life for area youth.
Among business featured will be Chico Christian School, the Inspire School for the Arts, Azads Martial Arts, and many more.
Co-produced by the Chico School of Rock and the Butte Folk Music Society, this year’s event will feature performances by the students of Chico School of Rock, and a “musical petting zoo†where children can experience a variety of musical instruments.
The theme is bringing together the generations thru the power of music, from folk music to modern rock n roll, and increasing awareness about local resources for families and children.
